No subscription scanner
ScanWow is a document scanner for iPhone and iPad with no subscription. Try it free on 3 documents. If you like it, unlock ScanWow Pro with one payment of $4.99 in the US (the App Store shows your local price). No monthly fee, no yearly renewal, and future updates are included.
Download is free, and your first 3 documents are free. A 10-page contract counts as one document, and so does a photo or PDF import.
ScanWow Pro is $4.99 once in the US. It adds unlimited scans, Automatic iCloud Backup to your own iCloud, and 1,000 Magic Enhance credits. It is yours forever on your Apple ID.
Magic Enhance is optional AI clean-up for a page you choose (Anthropic Claude, with Google Gemini as a backup), and each enhanced page uses one credit. Pro includes 1,000 credits. If you ever use them all, extra credit refills are an optional separate purchase, not a subscription. Scanning, text recognition on your device, search, and PDF export never use credits.
ScanWow reads text on your device by default, and your scans are never stored on our servers. A page is only sent for AI cleanup when you tap Magic Enhance on it. To keep every scan on your device, turn off Magic Cloud in Settings and leave iCloud Backup and Secure API Export off. Details are on the Privacy Policy.
