How do I scan a document?
Open ScanWow, tap the + button, point your camera at the document, and the app will automatically detect the edges. Tap capture or wait for auto-capture, then choose your enhancement mode.
How do I extract text from a scan?
Open a completed scan and look for the "Extracted Text" section below the preview. Tap Copy to copy the text to your clipboard, or Share Text to send it to another app.
Why isn't the text being recognized correctly?
Make sure the document is well-lit without shadows, the text is in focus, and you've selected the correct OCR language in Settings. Text mode works best for OCR.
How do I create multi-page PDFs?
After scanning your first page, tap "Add Page" instead of "Done". Continue scanning pages, then tap "Done" when finished. Export as PDF to combine all pages.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, find ScanWow in your purchase history, and submit a refund request.
